That amazing-looking open-world Legend of Zelda installment for the Wii U won’t be out in 2015 as originally planned — and Nintendo won’t be showing it at E3, either. What happened? “Several new possibilities.”Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma explains:

To put this in a historical context, it’s actually pretty rare when a Zelda title doesn’t get delayed. But will Nintendo pull a Twilight Princess and shift the game to its next-gen console, code-named NX? For now, they’re still saying it’s a Wii U game, but that’s not stopping fans/haters/pundits from seeing this as another nail in the struggling console’s GamePad-shaped coffin:
