Facebook embraces human emotional Reactions to Star Trek’s 50th anniversary

If you use Facebook, you’ll be familiar with “Reactions,” the expanded options that extend “Like” to “Love” as well as laughter, sadness, anger and amazement. Today, on Star Trek’s 50th anniversary, the social network has tweaked the buttons to have a very Final Frontier look.

In don’t know why this would make any Trekker mad like a Klingon or sad like emo engineer Geordi La Forge, but it’s only logical to account for all options.

Facebook also added an option allowing you to add a Trek-style frame to your profile picture.
