We finally know what happened to Della Duck.

Now what?

The mother of all DuckTales episodes on March 9, 2019, was the first new adventure since December 2018’s holly jolly “Last Christmas,” filling in the lost history of Huey, Dewey and Louie’s adventurous missing mother and paying homage to a classic video game tune along the way.

But, then, last weekend — nothing.

Lunar lullaby: DuckTales video game’s ‘moon theme’ becomes something greater

So, when will new episodes of the DuckTales reboot’s second season air?

Well, here’s your answer, straight from Duckburg HQ:

Frank Angones — co-producer, writer and story editor for Disney’s reboot — says to expect new episodes of DuckTales in May 2019:

I wasn’t the only one bugging Angones for when we can expect new DuckTales:

Woo-hoo!

DuckTales returns with new batch of episodes May 7

Update: New episodes resume May 7 with “Treasure of the Found Lamp” (a goof on 1990’s big-screen DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp?), followed by a rapid-fire release of episodes that includes at least seven episodes over nine days!

“Oh, its gonna be more than 7,” Angones teased in response to the tweet above. “This is missing some doozies.”

A third season also is expected to begin sometime in 2019.

DuckTales Season 2 premieres Oct. 20; Season 3 coming 2019
