On Oct. 27, BBC America will look back on David Tennant’s time in the TARDIS in Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisted, an ongoing look at those who have played the Time Lord as Britain’s long-running sci-fi series celebrates its golden anniversary.
Tennant himself will appear, joined by co-star Freema Agyeman and current series lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, who wrote some of the 10th Doctor’s most memorable adventures before going on to serve as show runner.
Following the retrospective, the Tennant two-parter “The Stolen Earth” and “Journey’s End” will be presented.
The Scottish actor, who recently starred in the dramatic Broadchurch on BBC America, has had such an impact on Doctor Who that he and his original co-star Billie Piper (pictured above) were invited back for the Nov. 23 50th anniversary special “The Day of the Doctor” — which, we’ve just learned, will be simulcast worldwide. Brilliant!
