The Saturn Awards are expanding to include a category just for movies adapted from comic books, with nominees Man of Steel, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and The Wolverine vying to take the new honor from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films.

Ender’s Game, Gravity, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Pacific Rim, Riddick and Star Trek: Into Darkness compete for the title of Best Science Fiction Film, while About Time, Her, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Jack the Giant Slayer, Oz the Great and Powerful and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty are up for Best Fantasy Film. Gravity and Desolation of Smaug each received a total of eight nominations, The Hunger Games earned a tribute of seven nods, and Iron Man 3, Pacific Rim, Star Treand Thor each garnered five.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Blacklist, The Following, Hannibal, Revolution, Sleepy Hollow and Under the Dome are the nominees for best network TV series. Syndicated/cable series nominees include American Horror Story: Coven, The Americans, Continuum, Dexter, Haven and The Walking Dead, while Bates Motel, Black Sails, Breaking Bad, Falling Skies, Game of Thrones and Vikings make up the “limited-run” series nominees, apparently. (Some of those don’t seem so “limited,” but whatever.) Breaking Bad, Falling Skies and Game of Thrones were the most prolific TV nominees.

Also new this year is a category for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series. Nominees include Colin Ford and MacKenzie Lintz from Under the Dome, Jared Gilmore from Once Upon a Time, Jack Gleeson from Game of Thrones, Connor Jessup from Falling Skies and Chandler Riggs from The Walking Dead.

There are many, many more categories and nominees, including actor and actress in both film and TV categories — find them all here.

The 40th Annual Saturn Awards will be presented this June in Burbank, Calif.
