  • I just mainly want to take my 5year old son so I can get a picture with Stan lee and him. He may not realize it now but the man is as important as anyone we have had in this country. From a Geek prespective

  • I am most looking forward to meeting Leonard Nimoy. Star Trek is my first memory of TV at age 2. I’ve been in love with those pointy ears ever since. I have one of his books of poetry to get signed.

    Live long and prosper!

  • I am looking forward to seeing and hopefully meeting Paul McGillion. I am a huge Stargate fan and am very happy it is being represented at Comicon.

  • Stan Lee! He is the one responsible for me walking down the road of nerdom. It all started with a book of collected first issues of his masterpieces that I was given as a young’un. Free tickets or no, I’m getting him to sign it this weekend.

    Excelsior!

  • As amazing as it would be to see Stan Lee or Leonard Nimoy, I’m honestly interested in meeting/seeing Vic Mignogna. He did voice work for two of my favorite anime series to date.
Sure he’s not an icon like many of the others, but to me he’s worth going just to see. This would also be my first Comicon, and convention in general. So I’m very interested in seeing how this goes.

  • I really want to see Wil Wheaton again.
I just sort of wandered into his “talk” last year, and laughed so hard I thought I was going to split a gut…
I am really excited this year to go listen to him, and see what has changed since last year..

  • I have been a sci-fi fan for as long as I can remember. I watched the moon landing as a child and followed the adventures of the Enterprise for years. I attended a number of “Star Trek” conventions over the years and was able to meet all but two of the main characters of the cast. Well, suffice it to say that logic and intellect are indeed the higher road. It would be a pleasure to meet Leonard Nimoy at this late stage in the game. “Is that a multi-legged creature on your shoulder?”

  • I posted this in the Facebook post as well, I really want to meet George Takei, I am impressed at what a respectful member of convention community he is. I really have enjoyed his PSA’s recently, advocating gay rights. I also am behind (haha) him when it comes to preventing the “white washing” of Akira by putting actors like Robert Patterson or Zac Effron as the lead roles. Plus I want to get a picture or video of us going to shake hands and he misses and grabs my crotch and says “oh my”. As a Howard Stern fan, I think he is more than willing to do that.

  • I’m a lifelong fan of Leonard Nimoy and Star Trek. I’ve never had the opportunity to actually meet him or see him live at a convention, so this would be an fantastic way to do so. I’m definitely excited at the possibility to “boldly go” to this show!

    “Peace and Long Life!”

  • Kind of a toss-up: my sci-fi buddy who wants to come with me says Billy Dee Williams and George Takai. I mean, Lando AND Sulu? YEAAAHHH!!!

But I’m the comic guy, and this IS called a COMICON… So, David Lapham by a million points. He is one of the best writers and artists in comics in the last 20 years. DAVID LAPHAM!!!

  • I’m 16, and I would really like to be able to go to Comicon. Stan Lee, Leonard Nimoy, Vic Mignogna, and Billy Dee Williams under one roof? My life dreams would be complete. Meet the guy who basically made all of my favorite comics, Spock, Edward Elric, and Lando Calrissian in one day? Life=made.

  • I would really like to see Stan Lee, but it’s also pretty awesome to see just about anyone who goes to Comicon. I really like all of the costumes!

  • I would just like to see anyone who has anything to do with Spiderman. He has been my favorite comicbook character for a VERY long time. So, I guess my answer is my answer is Stan Lee too.

  • Wil Wheaton – no doubt. Can’t imagine why Sheldon is such a hater when it comes to him, but Sheldon’s loss is my gain!

  • I’d love to meet Adam Baldwin. My family is a big fan of both Firefly and Chuck, and I’d love to introduce my 6 yo daughter to him. It is going to be a long summer having to explain every day that Chuck won’t be back on until September. Getting to meet “John Casey” might just tide her over. Maybe. 🙂

  • How can I choose? There are so many since this would be my first Comicon. I want to see everyone I can possibly see. Oh please, pick me!

  • The one guest my fiancé and I would like to see is the man who literally wrote the book on Zombie Survival, Max Brooks. If you ask many people “What would you do in a Zombie Outbreak?” they usually answer with “I’ll get a gun at the gun store” or “I’ll buy some supplies” but wouldn’t it be better to be prepared for it rather than trying to do things last minute like everyone else, when the world is in panic? Max Brooks’ book covers everything from weapons to terrain advantages during a zombie outbreak; genius. My fiancé and I would love to meet and have Mr. Brooks sign our Zombie Survival Guide, as well as his two other books, as we are huge fans. Yes I got a girl who loves Zombies and I knew I had to marry her when she asked if she could have a big zombie poster in our living room. Not our bedroom, but living room, for all to see.

  • Vic Mignogna would be an awesome dude to meet! Ed from Full Metal Alchemist is my favorite character from the best anime on earth! Then again, there is Adam Baldwin, who I had a slight man crush on in his Firefly days… Oooo, Mignogna or Baldwin… it’s such a tuff choice!

  • I’m really excited to see Lando Calrissian! Billy Dee Williams is great and doesn’t get the respect he deserves for blowing up the DeathStar. Can’t wait to see Elvira too.(WOO HOO!)

  • Wayne is the second and final winner – thanks for participating, everyone! But don’t let that stop the discussion of who you think is the most anticipated guest at Phoenix Comicon!
