Worlds devoured at San Diego Comic-Con 2016

San Diego Comic-Con 2016 has begun, and we’ve made our annual pilgrimage from the wastelands of Phoenix, through the Imperial Dunes of Tatooine, to the breezy California coast for five days of exhausting insanity and pop culture craziness.

Thanks to what I’m going to say was some sort of devious RNC plot, we didn’t make it to the convention center in time to procure passes to the big Star Trek Beyond premiere on Wednesday night, so instead we spent the afternoon checking out the surroundings and getting a glimpse of the preview night exhibit floor. Enjoy our pics below!

South Park

Across the street from the convention center, South Park is celebrating its twentieth season with a huuge interactive exhibit full of awesome photo opportunities for fans of the hit show.

South Park meets The Exorcist

I don’t know what would possess someone to ride The Exorcist train to the Comic-Con (hopefully no one’s been eating green pea soup.)

The Strain

For a moment I thought I made wrong turn and ended up at the RNC instead of SDCC.

Is it true, Lego Wonder Woman, that you were the inspiration for the 1977 Commodores’ hit single, “Brick House?”
