Photos: Ready Player One the OASIS Experience

The Tempe Arts Festival took place over the weekend in downtown Tempe. Among the many vendors and booths was a standout truck: the OASIS Experience in promotion of the upcoming film Ready Player One.

Visitors could get their photo taken and imposed into an Instagram-ready animation loop while they waited to board the truck. Once inside, folks were treated to a trailer for the film, surrounded by colorful movie posters redone for Ready Player One and a series of hologram props.

The experience was hosted in conjunction with retailer Hot Topic, so several promotional items were for sale in the event vehicle including exclusive shirts, Funko Pops, pins and more. Throughout the weekend, visitors could order their items on site for pick up in the ‘real world’ booth adjoining the truck.

Ready Player One will be released in theaters on March 29.
