Star Trek celebrates 50 years

This Thursday go where no Phoenician has gone before! Well, actually, we hear that the O.H.S.O. Distillery is frequented by Valley residents on a regular basis, but, nevertheless, Phoenix Trekkies are set to invade the Scottsdale location to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek.

That’s right, on September 8, 1966 the original Star Trek television series debuted on NBC, so if you located in the Phoenix quadrant of the Arizona system, gear-up for an ‘unofficial’ gathering of fans (or ‘Trekkie Hour’ as it were) this Thursday evening (Stardate: 70154.6 | Contemporary Date: 9/8/2016 – 5:30 PM) at O.H.S.O.
