Phoenix Comicon’s parent company, Square Egg Entertainment, has officially announced dates for its spin-off event Phoenix Fan Fest, Nov. 11-12 at the Phoenix Convention Center, along with the new Minnesota Fan Fest which will debut first on Aug. 19-20 at the Saint Paul River Centre.

More from Friday’s announcement:

Fan Fest is a celebration of comics, creators, and collectibles. The events will vary by year and location. Phoenix Fan Fest 2017 is a fandom experience for everyone with comic and media guests and an expansive exhibit hall where attendees can find one-of-a-kind and collectible geeky gifts for everyone on their holiday shopping list. Minnesota Fan Fest 2017 is a joint venture with comic creator Dan Jurgens that offers comic book and comic character enthusiasts the chance to meet some of the top creators in the industry and collect comics and graphic novels of every kind and brings exhibitors from around the country who specialize in comic memorabilia and collectibles.

The news came with a dedicated website URL, www.myfanfest.com, co-branded for both the flagship Phoenix and new Minnesota events.

In addition to Jurgens, known for Booster Gold and The Adventures of Superman, Minnesota Fan Fest will feature guests such as Marvel, Valiant, Future and DC Comics creator Bob Layton, DC artist Jae Lee and Jim Calafiore of Leaving Megalopolis and Gotham Underground fame.

Guests announcements for Phoenix Fan Fest haven’t begun yet.
