Monsterland, one of downtown Mesa’s newest and hottest haunts, is closing later this month. The business posted on its Facebook page Wednesday afternoon:
Well guys it’s been a great ride!! We absolutely love all our fans and appreciate you all supporting us in this AMAZING adventure!! But we regret to inform you all that Monsterland will be closing.
Stay tuned for details on our last HURAH on Saturday the 19th!
It will of course be a costume party!! We hope to see you there!
Monsterland opened in October 2011 as a sci-fi/horror prop museum, but reinvented itself quickly as a nightlife eatery and bar. Just this past October a wedding at the venue was filmed for an episode of Food Network’s series World’s Weirdest Restaurants.
