Grissom and Young, 1965 (Norman Rockwell)

More than 73 works of art commissioned by NASA to capture more than 50 years of space exploration are on display now through late January at Mesa’s Arizona Museum for Youth.

“NASA Art: 50 Years of Exploration” includes pieces by Norman Rockwell, Annie Leibovitz and Robert McCall, a Valley resident who died earlier this year.

For more information about the exhibit, read Mandy Zajac’s story in the East Valley Tribune.
