Registration is now open for Startup Weekend Chandler, July 27-29, 2012, from 6 p.m. Friday evening to 10 p.m. Sunday evening, at Gangplank Chandler, 260 South Arizona Ave. Chandler.
Startup Weekend Chandler, part of the network of worldwide Startup Weekends, is a 54-hour event where developers, designers, marketers, product managers and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch startups.
All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: Beginning with “open mic” pitches on Friday, attendees bring their best ideas and inspire others to join their team. Over Saturday and Sunday teams focus on developing a customer base, validating ideas, practicing “Lean Startup” methodologies and building a minimal viable product. On Sunday evening teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts.
With pre-events such Speed Team Networking and Startup 101, participants are prepared before heading into the weekend to maximize their 54-hours of mentoring, team building and pitch practice. More info & registration: http://chandler.startupweekend.org/.
