Free RPG Day is back this Saturday, June 18.
The annual event will have robust offerings with the participation of publishers and accessory purveyors such as Paizo, Atlas Games, Chessex, Troll Lord Games and Goodman Games, among others.
The event is a games industry awareness campaign that has much in common with the better-known Free Comic Book Day. Among local gaming stores, Arizona participation has been rather light in recent years. Show some initiative and that may possibly change.
In the Valley of the Sun, Tempe’s Game Depot and Glendale’s Imperial Outpost Games are listed as participating retailers this year. You can search for other areas here.
