Craft for Japan

HeatSync Labs on Sunday will hold an event called Craft for Japan to solder kimono lanterns, knit scarves and fold cranes to offer light, warmth and hope to survivors of the devastating earthquake and tsunami on March 11. They will also be accepting donations to defray the cost of supplies and shipping, as well as additional relief efforts.

Craft for Japan will take place 4 p.m. Sunday at HeatSync Labs in Gangplank, 260 S. Arizona Ave., Chandler.
