Arizona Renaissance Festival called due to mud

Classic Dungeons & Dragons back in print! - Available now @ Dungeon Masters Guild

The Arizona Renaissance Festival, usually open rain or shine every weekend in February and March in Apache Junction, has had to close today “due to unusual flooding in the parking areas.”

Event organizers made the announcement via their webpage and Facebook page Sunday afternoon.

The “parking areas” are just large dirt lots where festivalgoers can park for free thanks to sponsor Fry’s Food Stores, so that means this weekend’s rain has left it a massive, medieval muddy mess.
