A trilogy becomes a tetralogy

Random House has announced that the third book in the Inheritance series begun with Eragon and Eldest will be released Sept 23, 2008. The still-untitled third book will then be followed at a future date by a fourth installment. Yep – the trilogy has expanded to a “cycle.”

‘Stargate Atlantis’ coming back for more

Stargate Atlantis, now in its fourth season on Sci Fi Channel, has just been renewed for a fifth. The show has a new commanding officer, Col. Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping, pictured above, who recently transferred from the now-defunct flagship series Stargate SG-1) and a new doctor, played by sci-fi veteran Jewel Staite (Firefly).
