‘Thor’ strikes while the Spidey’s not

thor squareThe Marvel movie shuffle continues.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 4 has been delayed due to production issues, giving Thor a chance to strike even sooner. Paramount’s adaptation of Marvel’s mythical superhero comic, directed by Kenneth Branagh, will take the webslinger’s planned May 20, 2011, release date.

In other news, Disney has picked the same day as Thor’s debut for its Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
