The Associated Press is reporting that Star Wars prequel trilogy leading lady Natalie Portman will play an updated version of nurse Jane Foster from Marvel’s Thor comics in the 2011 film adaptation.
Portman joins Chris Hemsworth, who will portray the mythical Norse warrior in the movie directed by Kenneth Branagh.
In 2005 Portman starred opposite Hugo Weaving in an adaptation of DC Comics’ V for Vendetta.

That’s good casting. She’s almost a dead ringer for Jane Foster as herself, so in makeup and costume she should be outstanding.
