Upon entering Arkham Asylum, Batman is greeted by Joker over a loudspeaker: “Welcome to the Madhouse, Batman.” The Dark Knight has no choice but to enter into what can only be an ambush. Arkham Asylum features brutal combat, giant boss battles and deadly experiments within the notorious island prison.

Featuring an original story penned exclusively for the game by famous Batman author, Batman: The Animated Series writer and five-time Emmy award winner Paul Dini, Batman: Arkham Asylum is significant because it reunites Star Wars star Mark Hamill and stage and screen actor Kevin Conroy, who reprise their roles as Joker and Batman from Batman: The Animated Series.
