More than a dozen local comic book artists will celebrate the Red Hulk’s addition to the Avengers fold Wednesday at Atomic Comics’ four Valley locations.

They will do sketches on the blank-cover variant editions of Avengers #7, written by fan favorite and multiple Eisner award-winning author/artist Brian Michael Bendis (who will be making his own appearance Dec. 10-11 at an Atomic location to be announced.

You can get a full schedule of when and where local artists will appear at Atomic’s website.

“We at Atomic Comics are honored to have all these awesome local artists join us for this very special day to celebrate this milestone in one of Marvel Comics’ longest running comic books, The Avengers,” said Mike Malve, the stores’ owner.
