The anime cover band Kitsune Robot will perform in a free debut concert 7 p.m. next Friday, Sept. 12, at Atomic Comics, 1120 S. Country Club, No. 105, Mesa. That’s on the northwest corner of Country Club Drive and Southern Avenue.
Members of Kitsune Robot include Saboten-Con director Cira Peterson and cosplay director Dustin Skarupa. Their repertoire will include “The Real Folk Blues” from Cowboy Bebop, “Aozora no Namida” from Blood+, “Sobakasu” from Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) and “Haruka Kanata” from Naruto. There will be an after party with the band, and Atomic Comics will discount CDs, DVDs and manga graphic novels 25% from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 12.
