Kirby KrackleGeeky Seattle rock band Kirby Krackle is the latest act to sign up for Phoenix Comicon this May at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency.

With songs such as “Naked Wii,” “The Villain Song” and “Zombie Apocalypse,” the band consists of Jim Demonakos and Kyle Steven, who write songs about comic books, video games and other aspects of popular culture.

“I love music and I love being a geek, and when I can combine the two I’m never happier,” said Joe Boudrie, programming director, in a press announcement. “Plus, Kirby Krackle is hilarious. They’re going to rock Phoenix Comicon.”

Demonakos owns The Comic Stop, a large chain of comic book stores in Washington state, where he organizes the popular Emerald City Comic Con.

Other acts previously announced include international horror rock band Calabrese, Bad Cactus Brass Band, anime song cover band Kitsune Robot and zombie-werewolf horror band Spawn Atomic.
