Phoenix – Are you a pop culture junkie?

Let’s see if you can recognize these sayings from movies and television shows.

Do you know a girl with no name?

Maybe enjoy a Duff beer every now and then?

Could you be one with the Force?

If you understood any of those references, you’re a geek like Phoenix CW reporter J Russell and the Collector’s Marketplace in Central Phoenix has something for you.

“We’re all about nostalgia and pop culture. Everything that comes out of a movie, tv show, cartoon, video games, music, every single kind of niche we’ve tried to encompass it all”, said Daniel Salinas, manager at Collector’s Marketplace.

The shop is more than 8000 square feet of cool and nerdy gifts and toys.

“Some of the more rare pieces are going to be life-size pieces, six-foot Michael Myers when you plug him in he plays a theme song and slashes,” says Salinas.

Whether you’re a Ghostbusters or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan, you’ll find something right in here that reminds you of your childhood.

“Older people come in and see some of the museum stuff than their like I use to have that when I was a kid and kind of see the emotions and the look on their face it’s something they haven’t seen fifty or sixty years thinking I couldn’t believe this when I was a kid”, said Salinas.

One of the more popular items in the store, that’s easy!

There’s a collection of Marvel and Game of Thrones that will make you smiler harder than ever. Even your grandpa’s old favorite toys can be found at Collector’s Marketplace so you can fan out in any decade.

“Everybody here has an appreciation of the origin of toys and kind of where it all started from woodblocks, tin toys, metal toys, a history of toys is what it’s all about”, says Salinas.
