Marvel Studios released the much anticipated first trailer (and name) for “Avengers 4: End Game.”
At the end of “Avengers: Infinity War,” Thanos wipes away 50 percent of living creatures in the universe. The new trailer picks up with an isolated Tony Stark, stuck floating through space, leaving an apparent final message via his Ironman helmet.
The trailer doesn’t give much away from there, only reiterating the tremendous loss felt throughout the universe.
Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), who narrate the trailer, are side by side 1:37 into the trailer and seem to have devised a plan to take down Thanos.
“This is gonna work, Steve.”
“I know it is, because I don’t know what I’m going to do if it doesn’t.”
BOOM! Roll title screen and new name “Avengers 4: End Game.” And just when you think it’s over, Ant Man (Paul Rudd) comes knocking on the Avengers’ door.
“Avengers 4: End Game” will hit theaters in April of 2019.
