PHOENIX – A new Archie Comic miniseries is taking us back in time this fall and showing what life in Riverdale would be like during World War II.
The five-issue miniseries will follow how the war impacts the lives of Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica.
Due to the era, this miniseries will be darker than previous comics, but the writers still plan on adding that humor and warmth we’re used to.
The series is written by long-time friends Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn, along with art by Peter Krause.
The Archie 1941 No.1 series will be released digitally and in stores in September.
The #Riverdale gang is heading back to World War II in a new mini-series launching in September!
