Another case of life imitating art

Comic book writer Mark Sable was detained at Los Angeles International Airport when TSA agents found the script for an issue of his comic book “Unthinkable” in his luggage. The script which mentions 9/11 and other terrorist plots was enough to earn him a stern interrogation by TSA agents before finally being allowed to go about his business.

On the bright side, since “Unthinkable” details a world that has become a police state in the wake of 9/11, this experience may provide Sable with plenty of inspiration for future stories in the comic. After all, they always say “write what you know.”
