This post is a day late and exactly one dollar short — because I found this ever-lovin’, blue-eyed Thing pillow at, of all places, a 99 Cent Store a few years ago. It’s delightfully tacky, but at the time I bought it for the nostalgia of then-recently passed Mike Wieringo, the artist that drew this Thing head (I presume). A Grimm note indeed — but when it comes to napping, this pillow says only one thing: “It’s clobberin’ time!”
