Blizzard Entertainment

There are lots of articles on Overwatch and World of Warcraft is ramping up for Legion!

How is everybody enjoying Overwatch so far?!!?  I’ve had a few hours of hands on it so far, up to a player level of 15 right now, and already seeing people past level 100 but the game seems to be making a good effort to balance games out between players that have a lot of experience versus those without a whole lot yet.  Yet, as excited as I am to play a new Blizzard franchise I am that much more excited to see the Warcraft movie this coming week!! Let me know in the comments what you think about Overwatch and the Warcraft movie too!

Diablo 3 – No news is good news right?  The team is probably enjoying Overwatch like we are, but don’t forget that Season 6 is only a month old even if nothing new is coming out!

HearthStone – Check out the sweet cardback for this month’s Ranked Play Season!!  There were a few minor changes made in the latest Patch Notes for several cards, technical tweaks, and the return of chat bubbles in the game!  Interested in hosting a Tavern Hero Qualifier?  Get an eligible Fireside Gathering to get in on the action!  Don’t miss out on the HearthStone Spring Championship games on Twitch over the next few weeks!!

Heroes of the StormHappy Birthday Heroes of the Storm!!!!  To celebrate, we get a present of +50%XP, Blizzard Gear discounts, First Anniversary portraits and item bundle!!  Oh, and we get the Hell Billie mount too when we make in-game purchases now and the Billie the Kid will be retired June 14th!  The Balance Update this week targeted Chromie which wasn’t so much of a nerf as usually is expected in the first balance pass after a new hero comes out!  Unranked Draft Mode is coming!!!  In the Weekly Sale this week we have a legendary skin on sale for once!!

Overwatch – Finally, Overwatch is now live!!  From the in-game universe, make sure you don’t miss this short statement from the UN about the return (or not) of the Overwatch organization then check out the latest comic which features Torbjörn!!  Top gaming site Kotaku has several articles regarding: their review, tips for playing, how to counter some of the most used heroes, and how thousands of players have already been banned for cheating (just a few weeks after Blizzard said players you thought were cheating were just that good)!!

StarCraft 2 – While what looks like a minor Balance Update, actually seems like a bigger deal if you read all of the comments in the thread, but the changes listed in the Patch Notes really are minor!  Make sure you take a moment to vote on a new community portrait before it closes on June 8th!

World of Warcraft – You may have heard about this small production called the Warcraft movie, and there are a lot of things around it like: in-game transmogrifications that are now available, the Durotan prequel novel, the official soundtrack (you can stream it here!), a real life Capture the Flag match, AND a movie premiere stream on June 6th!!  Read up on the Patch 6.2.4 Hotfixes for the past month or two for a very interesting tidbit from the developers about changes to the levels 1-20 experience!!!  Jesse Cox will be helping to host the previously mentioned movie premiere stream, so why not read up on his spotlight from Blizzard?  Fun fact: I remember being in the crowd at BlizzCon when he asked his question to the developers!!  Interested in what is going on this month in WoW?  Look no further than this post keeping track of all of the June events!  Want to prove your system is the best for displaying graphics in game?  Find out how the graphic draw distance is changing and how that affects the current graphic settings for WoW!!
