Blizzard Entertainment

Every Blizzard game has had a patch or update over the past two weeks, so get all the details inside!

Not only is the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket available now, but an actual Goody Bag can be yours as well for just $34.99!  While I really love going to BlizzCon, if I knew in advance that I could have snagged a Goody Bag like this, I may not have bought an actual ticket and made my plans to head out for the event so I think it will be interesting to hear if they will do in for future years as well!!  Oh and, are you going to be in Europe in October?  Well you might be able to play Overwatch in Prague!

Diablo 3Patch 2.3.0 is finally live on the servers!!  I was able to play when it hit the servers and within an hour I had explored the new area, The Ruins of Sescheron, but I was struck by how fast I was able to mow through the area to successfully find Kanai’s Cube!  I was also struck by how much grinding it appears we’ll need to be doing for materials after looking at the recipes in the Cube!  You can find out much more about Patch 2.3.0 from the official site updates too.  With the new Patch, don’t forget about Season 4 starting as well with rewards including a special mount in Heroes of the Storm!!  If you are playing Heroes in addition to games like Diablo 3, or if you want to start playing this awesome game, then don’t miss out on being able to get the Diablo “hero” free if you log into the game until September 8th!  Also, don’t miss the next Reddit Q&A on Tuesday!

HearthStoneThe Grand Tournament has arrived!!  On top of all the changes like Joust and Inspire and new Rank rewards, Patch 3.0 that came out before the Tournament was released also gave us a change which will allow our Tavern Brawl wins to count towards the 100 wins we need to get another Heroes reward!

Heroes of the Storm – The latest patch has been on the servers for just under 2 weeks which gave us another map for the Eternal Conflict and the new hero Kharazim the monk from Diablo 3 on top of a whole lot of other changes!!  Check out some changes to the Placement and Ranking Systems that are being used to find out why some of your games right after the patch might not feel like the games before the patch!  Oh, don’t miss getting items from the Weekly Sale either which features 3 different heroes in Sonya, Tychus, and Gazlowe!

StarCraft 2 – Legacy of the Void is still having Balance Updates which really explain a lot of the changes in Patch 2.5.5!  Also introduced was 3v3 and 6v6 Automated Tournaments that sound like a great addition to the game and don’t feel like a big time investment compared to how much time might be spent in game anyways.  Have you been trying to create a game for the Arcade?  Want some tips or resources?  Of course you do!

World of WarcraftPatch 6.2.2 will be released on Tuesday which might be a relief since the last few weeks of Hotfixes for 6.2 have been fairly sedate!  Maybe you didn’t notice since the last wing of Hellfire Citadel opened featuring Archimonde!!  Or maybe you are getting geared up for all of the September events that are coming up!

Twitter Question of the Week – Sorry folks, I need to spend some more time playing the games so I can think up some questions for the next few weeks so this feature is on hold right now!  Hopefully it comes back next week!!
