‘Star Wars’ poetry slam Thursday at Samurai Comics in Phoenix

The creative forces behind April’s Star Trek poetry slam in Mesa are hosting a Star Wars-themed event 8 to 11 p.m. Thursday at Samurai Comics,  1051 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix.

Before you go composing that Yuuzhan Vong epic poem or Ewok sonnet you’ve had in mind since college, be aware that pieces should not exceed three minutes and will be judged by the audience.
