Blogger-author and actor Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Stand By Me) will make his fourth appearance at Phoenix Comicon, convention organizers announced Wednesday. The event takes place May 26-29, over Memorial Day weekend, at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency.
He joins a heroic lineup of guests that include Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, Robert Duncan McNeill — and that’s just the Star Trek corner of the list! Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee, Star Wars actor Billy Dee Williams and many, many more await.
Wheaton will take part in a panel on Eureka, the Syfy original series in which he sometimes appears, with its co-creator, Jaime Paglia, as well as a “Storytime With Wil” performance from his Memories of the Future Vol. 1 book, which requires separate registration from convention admission. Only 400 can attend the special Friday night event.
Wheaton will attend Friday, Saturday and Sunday, according to the announcement.
