Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer is narrating a new audiobook exploring the real-life history of magical folklore, documents and artifacts that influenced the wizarding world of the Harry Potter series.

Harry Potter: A History of Magic will feature completely original material compiled by Pottermore Publishing and based on last year’s eponymous British Library exhibition. The audiobook will be released Oct. 4 – the day before the British Library exhibition opens for a nearly four-month run at the New-York Historical Society, according to an Audible press release.

The book will feature stories about Nicolas Flamel, backwards-flying broomsticks, an exploding cauldron, and more magical history from around the globe.

Listeners will also be treated to insights from series narrators Jim Dale and Stephen Fry and illustrators Jim Kay and Olivia Lomenech Gill about how they crafted their contributions to the Potter series.

Harry Potter: A History of Magic will be released Oct. 4 and is available for preorder in the U.S. exclusively from Audible.
