Kickstarter backers pledge $30K to rescue out-of-print sci-fi books for digital age

Kind of like the monks of ages past, only geekier, a group of sci-fi bibliophiles is trying to keep out-of-print examples of the genre from disappearing as publishing shifts from print to digital. You can find out all about it at Singularity & Co.’s Save the SciFI! Kickstarter page — but with nine days to go as of this writing, they’ve already more than doubled their $15,000 pledge goal.
