Jedi the Last: Star Wars’ Shakespearean riff continues with Part the Eighth

Jedi the LastJedi the Last: No, that’s not Yoda speak.

In the vein of The Force Doth Awaken and previous Elizabethan-style Star Wars anachro-adaptations, The Last Jedi is soon to get the Shakespeare-Skywalker treatment itself.

William Shakespeare’s Jedi the Last — Star Wars Part the Eighth will be released July 10. So now you can enjoy Luke Skywalker’s magical island hermit, Kylo Ren and Rey’s star-crossed relationship and the foolish mortals of Canto Bight with all the frills and thrills of a true Renaissance Resistance rout.

StarWars.com’s Dan Brooks has an illuminating Q&A with cover artist Nicolas Delort. that you should definitely check out.
