Very recently Wired magazine’s GeekDad blog — a big inspiration to me and many others at Nerdvana and beyond — underwent a transformation. It has a fresh new design that adds a featured content window and other slick features while remaining quintessentially GeekDad. It also looks and feels terrific on a tablet, and while it meshes well with the design of the Wired site as a whole, other Wired blogs don’t seem to have adopted the new look just yet.
The new format gives higher emphasis to the GeekDad Community, which encourages readers to join and contribute articles that can get promoted to the “core” GeekDad site. Take a look, join the community and share your world!
