Free RPG Day returns June 20

Books, Gaming, RPGs

20130611-073413.jpgFree RPG Day is June 20 this year, and two Valley stores are listed as participating on the event’s official website: Imperial Outpost Games in the West Valley and The Game Depot in Tempe.

The annual industry event will have robust offerings with the participation of publishers and accessory purveyors such as Paizo, Steve Jackson Games, Chessex, Troll Lord Games and Goodman Games, among others.

The event is an industry awareness campaign that has much in common with the more well known Free Comic Book Day. Among local gaming stores, Arizona participation has been rather light in recent years. Show some initiative and that may change.
