Jon and Pamela Voelkel, real-world parent adventurers who explored the lost world of the Maya and brought it to life for young readers in Middleworld, will give a presentation 2 p.m. Saturday at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe to mark the release of the second book in their “Jaguar Stones” trilogy, The End of the World Club.

Expect tips for surviving in the jungle, tales of their travels to Central America and Spain (the setting for the second book), “the truth about 2012” (finally!), crazy rock ‘n’ roll and a signing with Mayan glyphs.
