Arizona native and bestselling author Diana Gabaldon, who is famous for her genre-bending books and once penned Disney comic books, will make an appearance in the East Valley next week to mark the 20th anniversary of her first novel, the time-travel historical romance Outlander. She recently took the series into the visual medium with Exile, a graphic novel.
Gabaldon will be at Mesa’s Book Rack at 1752 S. Signal Butte Road, Suite 108, from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 22. Admission is free and the book series will be available for purchase and signing. Information: (480) 380-0044 or her official website.
