Big names added to Phoenix Comicon guest list

Phoenix Comicon organizers held a kickoff event Thursday night where they announced the final set of guests for the Memorial Day Weekend event:

George Takei, Mr. Sulu from the original Star Trek.

Adam Baldwin, Jayne Cobb from Firefly.

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark

Nicholas Brendon, Xander Harris from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Ernie Hudson, Winston Zeddemore from Ghostbusters

Jaime Paglia, creator of Syfy’s Eureka.

Vic Mignogna, anime voice actor

Max Brooks, author of World War Z and Zombie Survival Guide

Spawn artist Greg Capullo and Spawn creator and original Image founder Todd McFarlane

Other comics creators including Andy Kuhn, Scott Clark, Ryan Winn, Tom Hodges, David Lapham, Mike Wolfer, Jacen Burrows, Si Spurrier, William Christensen, J. Scott Campbell, Larry Hama (G.I. JOE) and Aaron Lopresti.

Podcaster and former G4TechTV personality Alex Albrecht.

The guests announced Thursday join an already impressive roster including Leonard Nimoy, Stan Lee, Billy Dee Williams and Bruce Boxleitner.
