Bestselling author Anne Rice, who made vampires cool before vampires were cool, will visit Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe next month to sign copies of her latest novel, Of Love and Evil, “a metaphysical thriller of angels and assassins that summons up dark and dangerous worlds set in times past.”
Rice, one of the most widely read modern authors, has floated back and forth between the gothic erotica genre and Christian-themed novels. She’ll sign the second installment in her “Songs of the Seraphim” series at in the meet-and-greet 6 p.m. Feb. 11; event vouchers admitting two guests are free with the purchase of the book.
Rice will not be speaking or reading at the event but will pose for photographs and personalize books as time allows.
