We’re exactly one month away from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’s Nov. 18 premiere, and news about the movie just keeps coming.
Most exciting: Last week, author J.K. Rowling confirmed there will be five – that’s right, five! – films in the Fantastic Beasts franchise instead of the trilogy she previously announced. That means we’ll get to delve into a whole lot more of Newt Scamander’s story and the American wizarding world than previously dreamed.

And on Monday, Warner Brothers Interactive announced it’s releasing a mobile game called Fantastic Beasts: Cases From The Wizarding World on Nov. 17, the day before the movie comes out. It’s described as a “hidden objects game” where players investigate mysteries in spots like Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade “as new recruits for the Ministry of Magic.”
“By discovering hidden objects, analyzing evidence, casting spells and brewing potions, players investigate unexplained happenings to uncover and protect the magical creatures at the center of every mysterious case,” Warner Brothers explained in its press release.
Plus, Warner Brothers has recently released three television spots advertising the film. Much of the footage has already been seen in trailers, though there are also some fun new scenes…and the suggestion of an international wizarding school rivalry. Hogwarts vs. Ilvermorny, anyone?
Itching to buy tickets to the premiere yet? You’re in luck: They’re already on sale, and incredibly easy to find, thanks to the official Fantastic Beasts ticket site.
