Bad news, everyone: Futurama canceled (again)

Featured, Television, Top story

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Comedy Central has canceled Futurama. The final 13 episodes will begin airing June 10, and the series finale is set for Sept. 4.

Today’s announcement marks the second time that the Matt Groening and David X. Cohen production has been axed, having aired originally 1999-2003 on Fox before returning in 2007 in first-run cable after a strong showing in rerun syndication and home video.
