Doctor Who: The Pyramids of Mars (BBC America)

The fourth installment in BBC America’s “Doctors Revisited” documentary series will highlight Tom Baker’s iconic time on Doctor Who, and it will include a screening of one of his most famous adventures.

The Doctors RevisitedAiring April 28 at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific, the presentation will feature “The Pyramids of Mars,” an Egyptian adventure across two planets co-starring the late Elisabeth Sladen in one of her most powerful turns as the Doctor’s journalist companion, Sarah Jane Smith.

But first, in addition to Steven Moffat, producer of the show’s current incarnation, there will be interviews with Baker himself — who played the Doctor for a record seven seasons — and Louise Jameson, who played his savage companion, Leela.

Baker doesn’t speak much about his time as the Doctor these days, so it’s an occasion not to be missed.

According to the unofficial Doctor Who News site, this is the last of four specials to be collected in a DVD boxed set to be released June 11.
