The Minibosses, the Valley’s own Nintendo tune cover band, have released the follow-up to their much-acclaimed 2005 album Brass.
Brass 2: Mouth is available for $9 digital download or as a limited-edition vinyl album packaged with a digital download for $35. According to the band’s website, the vinyl release planned to ship by Dec. 10 has been delayed so the digital release was moved up.
You can sample the awesome tunes below; highlights include NES classics from The Legend of Zelda, Ghosts’n Goblins, Super Mario Bros. 3, a new take on Kid Icarus, cult classic Goonies 2 and lots and lots of Excitebike.
