Google Maps Street View celebrates 30 years of Zelda, Twilight Princess HD release

It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD with its awesome Wolf Link amiibo is out today, and to celebrate this — perhaps along with the Zelda franchise’s 30th anniversary — Google Maps has added the little elfin hero Link to Street View.

Basically when you get to the street-level view, you’ll see a little person-shaped icon that you can use to navigate on a top-level mini-map, not unlike what you’d find in a video game. Anyway, for now this figure is dressed up as Link, and there are some cute animations as you manipulate him in your virtual travels.

It’s a neat little interactive touch, but it seems to be limited to just the Overworld map … Where are the Underworld dungeons?
