Marvel's Agent Carter

Not content to kill off S.H.I.E.L.D. founder Peggy Carter after a long natural life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the TV gods have decreed that ABC’s Marvel-ous Agent Carter shall be cut off in its prime time after just two seasons.

Supergirl meets The Flash in "World's Finest."Our dreams of an heroic Netflix resurrection may be stymied by eponymous star Hayley Atwell’s attachment to a new legal drama. Stay tuned. We’re also learning that ABC has canceled The Muppets, Galavant and Castle, while ordering to series a new H.G. Wells sci-fi drama based on the 1979 film Time After Time. EW has lots more.

Supergirl, meanwhile, moves from CBS to the CW, and from Hollywood to Vancouver production. Downside: Will all of its talent move with it? Upside: potentially more crossover with the excellent DC CW-niverse, as happened last season with The Flash; now there’s potentially Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow for Kara Zor-El to interact with.
