Stan Lee cancels Amazing Arizona Comic Con appearance, citing illness

Comics, Events, Sci-Fi & Fantasy

Stan LeeMarvel Comics icon Stan Lee has pulled out of this weekend’s Amazing Arizona Comic Con in Phoenix. According to Bleeding Cool, his representatives say “he is physically unable to travel and appear for this weekend’s events due to illness.” Refunds are being offered today and tomorrow for those who purchased Stan Lee photo ops or packages, or you can bring items to be delivered to Lee’s office for signing and return.

Illness apparently didn’t keep Lee from creating a YouTube account recently just to send a get-well message to a high school student wounded in a California school shooting. That’s a hero!

Get well soon, Stan.
